Three Terrorists Suspected of Killing ANF Officers Arrested in Jhelum

The three suspects—Bilal, Syed Abid, and Ghufran—are from the Gujarat district and were caught trying to escape from Gwadar to Iran.

There are two more terrorists that the police are reportedly looking for in connection with the shooting incident.

Ten days have passed since three ANF officers were shot and killed in the Jehlum neighborhood of Domeli Mor.

It is important to note that on June 12 near Turkey Toll Police, Jhelum, a gunfight between suspected drug traffickers and at least three Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) soldiers resulted in the martyrdom of three ANF members.

The suspects were stopped at the toll plaza while driving on GT Road from Rawalpindi to Lahore, according to the police.

When the ANF team was stopped by the suspects, they opened fire on them, killing three members of the team: Head Constable Gulzar, Zeeshan, and Mazhar.

Two suspects ran away from the scene and took refuge in the surrounding hills, leaving one under arrest by the police.

According to police, a search is being conducted to find the evading suspects and the suspects’ vehicle has been brought to the Dina Police Station for additional investigation.
