ISPR Reports Four Terrorists Killed in North Waziristan IBO

Security forces in North Waziristan initiated an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in response to reports of terrorist activity, according to the military’s media branch.

Four terrorists were killed in a fierce shootout that broke out between the military and the militants during the operation.

According to the ISPR, the terrorists who were killed had taken part in a number of terrorist operations. From the dead terrorists, weapons, ammo, and explosives were also found.

The ISPR stated, “A sanitization operation is being conducted to eliminate any other terrorist found in the area.” The people expressed gratitude for the operation and their unwavering support for ending the threat of terrorism.

Earlier on March 2, during an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in the Karak district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), four terrorists were injured and three were shot dead.

The operation takes place in the midst of an increase in terrorist attacks nationwide, particularly in KP and Balochistan, following the government-broken truce with the banned militant organization Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan in November 2022.
