The United States has responded to the Houthi strikes by targeting locations within Yemen and the establishments of forces supported by Iran in both Iraq and Syria. U.S. military installations in Syria and Iraq have been struck in retaliation. Additionally, Israel has attacked Iranian sites in Syria.
The two vehicle-mounted systems were unveiled on Saturday in front of Iranian Defense Minister Brigadier General Mohammad Reza Ashtiani.

“The Islamic Republic of Iran’s air defense capability will increase significantly with the entry of new systems into the country’s defense network,” IRNA stated.

The Azarakhsh missile system “may identify and destroy targets… up to a range of 50 km with four ready-to-fire missiles,” according to the statement, while the Arman missile system “can simultaneously confront six targets at a distance of 120 to 180 km.”

Iran unveiled Fattah, dubbed as the country’s first hypersonic ballistic missile, in June, according to authorities.
