Muhammad Aurangzeb, the federal minister of finance and revenue, said this during his budget statement to the National Assembly on Wednesday.
Under the Benazir Kafaalat scheme, the number of recipients getting quarterly stipends was increased from 9.3 million to 10 million. The stipend amount would also be enhanced in consideration of the current rate of inflation.
There will be about 100,000 more kids registered in the Benazir Education stipend program, bringing the total number of stipends to 10.4 million.

The goal of the Benazir Nashonuma Program, which aims to prevent stunted growth in children during the first 1000 days of growth, is to incorporate 5,00,000 more families during the next Fiscal Year.
To enhance financial well-being and encourage economic participation, BISP is launching the Poverty Graduation and Skill Development initiative. In addition, the BISP is launching the Hybrid Social Protection Programme to help the impoverished segments become financially independent.
