The Pakistani Rupee Strengthens Against the US Dollar

As to the Forex Association of Pakistan (FAP), the open market rates for purchasing and selling the Dollar were Rs 277.50 and Rs 280.20, correspondingly.

According to the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP), the value of the euro fell by 86 paisa, closing at Rs 301.84 as opposed to the previous closure of Rs 302.70.

The Japanese Yen closed at Rs 1.78, down 2 paisa. The British Pound dropped by Rs 1.06 to trade at Rs 351.94, down from the previous close of Rs 353.00.

In addition, the Saudi Riyal and Emirates Dirham exchange rates dropped by 4 paisa each, to close at Rs 74.18 and Rs 75.74, respectively.
