PSX sees Continued Gains, up 411.65 Points

The 100-Index had a mixed pattern during intraday trading; the high point was 75,401.11 points, and the low point was 74,947.71 points.

In comparison to the 407,625,139 shares worth Rs 16.9 billion that were exchanged the day before, a total of 496,699,517 shares valued at Rs 17.631 billion were moved during the day.

In the meantime, 384 firms were trading their shares on the stock market; 212 of them saw gains, 151 saw losses, and 21 saw their prices stay the same.

According to ARY News, the KSE-100 index of the PSX continued its bullish trend the day before, rising 266.71 points or 0.36 percent to close at 74,930.69 points as opposed to 74,663.98 points the day before.

The 100-Index had erratic behavior during intraday trading, peaking at 75,029.03 points and falling to 74,450.25 points.

A total of 377 businesses transacted their shares in the stock market throughout the day, valuing 407,625,139 shares at Rs 16.9 billion. Of these, 161 recorded gains, 194 suffered losses, while the prices of 22 remained unchanged.

Earlier in the week, the KSE-100 index of the PSX continued its bullish trend, hitting the record high mark of 74,575.30 points before closing at 74,531.19 points with a gain of 732.08 points as compared to 73,799.11 points of the previous trading day.

A total of 574,182,210 shares valuing Rs 23.425 billion were traded during the day as compared to 721,597,885 shares valuing Rs 25.649 billion the last day.

Some 387 companies transacted their shares in the stock market; 189 of them recorded gains and 178 sustained losses, whereas the prices of 20 remained unchanged.

While the KSE-100 index gained 713.61 points compared to the previous trading day’s 73,085.50 points, it crossed the 74,000 milestone during intraday trade on the first business day of the week, settling at 73,799.11 points.

The 100-index finished the trading day below the 74,000 level as investors chose to take profits at the highest point.

In contrast to the 741,196,400 shares worth Rs 25.268 billion that were exchanged the day before, a total of 721,597,885 shares valued at Rs 25.649 billion were moved during the day.
