Saudi Arabia Invests $101 Million in Pakistan’s Clean Energy Sector

The Special Investment Facilitation Council is working to boost environmentally friendly energy generation using solar and hydro power as part of its Clean and Green Energy objective.

A US business has set up a GW3 solar panel plant in Karachi, which will aid in the production of electric cars and solar panels.

Additionally, the World Bank has given its approval to a 150-million-dollar sustainable energy project in Pakistan. By boosting the nation’s production capacity, these SIFC initiatives are assisting it in resolving its energy issue.

It is important to note that the Cabinet Committee on Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC) was established by the federal government in order to guarantee that recommendations were implemented within the SIFC’s bounds.

The notification states that the committee would submit decisions for approval to the federal cabinet.

The committee will be chaired by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, with special invitations extended to the national coordinator, chief ministers, and head of the army.
