PTI’s Aliya Hamza Re-Arrested on May 9 Case Despite Bail

Additionally, according to police officials, Aliya Hamza was wanted by Gujranwala police in connection with a violent case on May 9.

In their May 9 vandalism charges, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) activists Sanam Javed and Aliya Hamza were granted bail by the anti-terrorism court (ATC) yesterday.

According to specifics, the anti-terrorism court granted Sanam Javed and Aliya Hamza’s bail requests in three of the May 9 violent cases, while the fourth case, which was filed at the police station Musa Khel Sargodha, was granted temporary bail.

PTI activists Sanam Javed and Aliya Hamza were sent on physical remand for seven days in a vandalism charge by the same court on April 17.

It’s important to note that the Anti Terrorism Court granted the authorities’ request for a 30-day physical remand of Sanam Javed and Aliya Hamza; however, the PTI activists were placed on a seven-day physical remand.

It is important to note that Aliya Hamza is being prosecuted on multiple counts of vandalism following the May 9 riots that broke out all over Pakistan following the former prime minister and PTI founder’s arrest from the grounds of the Islamabad High Court.
