The gathering, according to those with knowledge of the developments, will take place at Maulana Fazlur Rehman’s home. There, they will talk about the potential for starting a coordinated campaign against the administration.

“Various proposals and strategies to launch an anti-government movement under the banner of the joint opposition alliance or any new platform have already been agreed upon by the PTI and JUI-F,” the sources said.

Prior to this, Maulana Fazlur Rehman declared that a consensus between his party and the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) would be “fortunate.”

Maulana Fazlur Rehman stated that there were significant “mountain-sized” divisions between the two parties in an interview with a private news program. Maulana Fazalur Rehman said, “PTI’s delegation has come to us, and as per our tradition, we have welcomed them.”

According to the head of JUI-F, things will be OK provided their problems with the PTI are fixed. “If not, each political party has its own position and viewpoint,” he declared.

Maulana Fazalur Rehman said that PTI’s delegation had suggested resolving some issues, and both parties agreed to do so.

He said one or two people from PTI come up with ‘inappropriate’ statements against the JUI-F, adding that they don’t take those statements seriously.
