Hugh Jackman and Ryan Reynolds play the main roles in Deadpool & Wolverine, albeit the most of the plotlines have been kept under wraps.

Fans are excited to see the two characters battle in the Phase 5 film, which is scheduled to open in theaters in July.

Disney unveiled a new trailer that, when scanned with a QR code, took viewers to a video that was uploaded on Ryan Reynolds’s personal YouTube account.

“We can’t wait to see you on July 26. I know a lot of you are thrilled. But the table needs to be carefully arranged. This movie is as thin as a Battlefield Earth 2 follow-up. The actor remarked in the video, “We’re primarily going to blow each other up, make enemies with Disney, make a few jokes at my expense, make a lot of jokes at Hugh’s expense, and completely sidestep Marvel’s mandated after-credits sequence.”

Deadpool and Wolverine may depart from the long-standing MCU post-credits scene custom, according to Ryan Reynolds.

Nonetheless, Rob Liefeld, the man behind Deadpool, had hinted earlier that the film’s post-credits sequence is “mind-blowing.”

It is important to note that Robert Downey Jr.’s suggestion was the inspiration behind the “shawarma” sequence added to The Avengers for their formal debut.
