The parliamentary party meeting will be presided over by the party’s chairman, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, in Parliament House.
It has been instructed to all PPP lawmakers to make sure they attend the meeting. During the meeting, the People’s Party will talk about and plan its approach to the federal budget.
Today’s PPP meeting will also cover the government’s disregard for the party when drafting the national budget. The presentation of the 2024–25 budget is set for June 12 (tomorrow).
In the final week of May, a Pakistan People’s Party team paid Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif a visit and made a demand for a budget that would be inclusive of all citizens for the upcoming year.
Senator Sherry Rehman, Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah, Syed Naveed Qamar, and former prime minister Raja Pervaiz Ashraf were among the delegation members.
The PPP delegation reportedly gave the party’s budget recommendations, according to sources.

The delegation asked that more money be set up in the budget for Sindh’s development initiatives.
