Police Constable Accused of “Honey Trapping” Citizens in Covert Operation

The First Information Report (FIR) listed a police policeman who was reportedly involved in a honey trap case in Sahiwal.

According to the FIR, a woman by the name of Maham rented a car from the owner, Arshad, and was told to drop it off at the designated spot.

Arshad’s car was apparently forced to halt at College Chowk by another car that was allegedly carrying two police constables, named Rana Akmal and Rana Zia. Then, holding him at gunpoint, they forced him into the back seat of their vehicle and demanded a ransom of Rs 300,000.

The police constable and his accomplice, according to the contents of the FIR, took Rs 43,000 from the car owner’s bank account by force and threatened to put him in jail for drugs if he notified anyone about the occurrence.

After the event was reported to the District Police Officer (DPO), the girl and the involved constable were apprehended by the police, who then filed a case.
