Chief Minister (CM) Maryam Nawaz opened four driving schools earlier in the day to instruct women in driving cars and motorcycles.

The driving schools are Liberty Service Center Driving School, Manawan Traffic Lines Driving School, Women on Wheels School, and Abshar Driving School, all located on Jail Road and Ferozepur Road.

According to the Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) of Lahore, driving schools provide a women-to-women service where female instructors coach and support female pupils. The sessions are held from 8 am to 4 pm to accommodate women.

The goal of this program is to empower women to become self-sufficient, self-assured persons by promoting their mobility and independence.
