The chief minister, who presided over a meeting today in Lahore about the “Apni Chaat Apna Ghar” project, asked for a detailed plan to carry out the announcement to build 100,000 dwellings.
During the conference, it was determined to build around 3000 low-income houses in each district of Punjab.
She gave the go-ahead for officials to construct model homes in six weeks with a less down payment and monthly payments.
The Chief Minister gave officials instructions to give sustainability and building standards top priority in these homes.

In the province, the “Sarkein Bahaal-Punjab Khushaal” project has also been launched.
The completion of road projects was mandated by Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, who also requested a report on road bridges throughout Punjab.
She underlined how important it is to carry out surveys as soon as possible for road bridge construction and repair.
In order to finish over 153 road projects in Punjab in six months, the chief minister also gave the order to build expressways on five major linking highways.
