The chief minister, presiding over a law and order meeting, stated that punishing offenders is necessary in addition to simply filing a complaint.
“After seeing the video of the child who died from the kite’s string, I was devastated,” the woman remarked. According to CM Maryam Nawaz, swift action is required to put the law into effect. Additionally, she gave the go-ahead to launch a campaign to outlaw kite flying throughout the province.
CM Maryam Nawaz ordered that anybody found to have violated the ban on kite flying face harsh consequences. She gave the district administration, police, and chief secretary instructions to make sure the aforementioned directives were followed.
CM Maryam Nawaz said, “A punishment exemplary should be given to those accused of rape.”
She also gave the concerned department instructions on how to handle incidents of domestic abuse against women and children.
Maryam Nawaz gave her approval earlier on Friday for the Punjab Economic Corridor Development Authority to be established.
The chief minister presided over a meeting and gave the order to finish mapping industrial zones in accordance with international norms and standards.

The meeting attendees were given an overview of the division-level small, medium, and big industries in Lahore, Gujranwala, Faisalabad, Gujrat, Sahiwal, Sargodha, Bahawalpur, and Rawalpindi.
Speaking at the event, Maryam Nawaz stated that the transportation and road sectors are just as important as the development of industrial corridors.
