Vandalism Case: PTI’s Shoaib Shaheen, 80 Others Named in FIR

According to specifics, attempts at murder, robbery, and vandalism were the allegations brought against PTI officials Amir Mughal, Ali Bukhari, and others under the Terrorism Act.

The demonstrators allegedly attacked law enforcement, stole guns, and caused damage to public property. Thus far, ten demonstrators have been taken into custody by the police.

The demonstrators had assembled outside the National Press Club to voice their disapproval of the administration, under the leadership of Ali Bukhari, Amer Moghal, and Shoaib Shaheen.

Leaders of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) were arrested last week on charges of inciting people against the government and making anti-state remarks.

Charges of sedition, inciting the public, and sowing anarchy were brought against 28 PTI leaders, including Shandana Gulzar, MNAs Shehryar Afridi, and Sindh President Haleem Adil Sheikh.

Abdul Ghani, a Levies officer, filed a complaint, leading to the investigation being opened at the Bostan police station. The FIR also names several leaders of the PTI Balochistan chapter, including Sherief Tokhi, Abdul Bari Kakar, Jahangir Rind, Mir Ashfaq, Nawabzada Sharif, Moazzam Buut, Mahwish Janjua, Abdul Bari, Khurshid Ahmed, Rahim Kakar, and Ateeq Kakar.
