At the company’s Worldwide Developers Conference on Monday, the tech giant also revealed access to OpenAI’s GPT-4o and its improved version of Siri for its iPhone, iPad, and Mac products.

With the most recent version, iOS 18, users will also be able to personalize their iPhone in new ways, such as rearranging apps on the home screen and changing their color.

Additionally, Apple unveiled Lock An App, a new feature that locks down some programs so users can only access them using Face ID.

iPhone users may now send animated phrases, emoticons, and text messages on a schedule.

With iOS 18, Apple is also adding Rich Communication Services (RCS) to the Messages app, enabling iPhone users to transmit encrypted texts and media to Android users.

The platform known as Apple Intelligence, which will assist with text summarization, original image creation, and retrieval of the most pertinent data when customers require it, was the main announcement.

Users of iPad tablets will no longer need to download third-party apps in order to perform basic math operations thanks to a software update that adds a built-in calculator to the device.
