It’s important to note that the Anti Terrorism Court granted the authorities’ request for a 30-day physical remand of Sanam Javed and Aliya Hamza; however, the PTI activists were placed on a seven-day physical remand.
It is important to note that Aliya Hamza is being prosecuted on multiple counts of vandalism following the May 9 riots that broke out all over Pakistan following the former prime minister and PTI founder’s arrest from the grounds of the Islamabad High Court.
