The AGP presented the report of the Dher Kot police station in Kashmir before Judge Mohsin Akhtar Kayani today.
Judge Kayani halted the hearing and said he will forward the case file pertaining to the missing persons to a larger bench.
In a prior hearing about the missing poet and journalist Ahmed Farhad Shah, the court had called in senior intelligence agency officials as well as the federal law minister.
Judge Mohsin Akhtar Kayani instructed concerned authorities to locate the missing journalist and provide a report to the IHC registrar by May 29 (today) in an eight-page written order during Friday’s session.
Additionally, Judge Mohsin Akhtar Kayani mandated that all cases involving missing people be televised live.
The Director of the Intelligence Bureau (IB) and Sector Commanders of Military Intelligence (MI) and Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) were ordered by the IHC court to personally attend the upcoming hearing on May 29 (today).

At the case’s subsequent hearing, Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kayani had also called the secretaries of defense and interior as well as Azam Nazeer Tarar, the law minister.
