To attend the meeting, IG Sindh Ghulam Nabi Memon has departed for Sukkur.
Together with DIG Sukkur, Larkana, and federal and provincial ministers, the chief minister, home minister, and D.G. Rangers Sindh will be present at the meeting.
The police and rangers will brief the meeting on the current operation in the katcha area. The discussion will include firearms, the katcha area’s challenges, and other relevant topics.
It is anticipated that important decisions regarding law and order and related issues would be made during the President Zardari-chaired session.

In a May meeting on Sindh law and order, President Asif Zardari gave the province’s authorities instructions to begin a massive campaign against drug traffickers operating throughout the province, street criminals in Karachi, and dacoits in the katcha area. This operation would be coordinated with those of other provinces.
