Rainfall Results in Tragic Loss of Seven Lives in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa

Five women, five children, and one male were among the deaths, according to Rescue DG Peshawar, while five more people were injured in rain-related accidents.

Numerous animals also perished in the roof collapse accidents. These occurrences happened in Bajaur, Lower Dir, and Peshawar.

As per Rescue DG, individuals suffered financial damages due to the roof collapses in several areas.

Three persons were trapped beneath the rubble in the Lower Dir district of KP after their house was struck by a mudslide. The injured and dead were taken to the hospital by the rescue personnel.

On Saturday, the Khyber area in the KP saw snowfall and rain for the third day in a row. Low-lying regions were swamped due to the intermittent rain that was occurring in the provincial capital.

Conversely, in the higher regions, landslides obstructed roadways. Normal living was severely disrupted.
