Opportunity for Car and Motorcycle Enthusiasts to Secure Unique Number Plates
In a bid to provide a unique and personalized touch to vehicle owners, the Punjab Excise & Taxation Department has rolled out its e-auction schedule for January 2024. This initiative allows individuals to bid for distinctive numbers for their cars and motorcycles.
The e-auction presents a chance for enthusiasts to acquire universal numbers of their choice. The registration for the first series commenced on January 1 and will remain open until January 11. Following this, registration for the remaining two series is scheduled to begin on January 11 and January 21, respectively.

Bidding for the different series will commence on January 11, 21, and February 1, offering participants multiple opportunities to secure their preferred number plates.
Simultaneously, the registration process for commercial vehicles kicked off on January 1 and will continue until January 20. The auction for these vehicles is slated to take place from January 21 to January 22.
Faisal Yousaf, Chairman of the Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB), emphasized the ease of participation, noting that citizens can conveniently register for the auction through the online portal and the e-Auction mobile app.
