The MET office predicts that the city’s highest temperature will stay between 36 and 38 degrees Celsius with winds gusting to 36 km/h.

Rain is unlikely to fall in the port city today, according to the PMD.According to the meteorological service, the highest temperature in Karachi might be between 40 and 42 degrees Celsius from May 29 to May 31. The authority further claimed that the intense heat wave could last till June 5.
In order to lower the danger of heatstroke’s, the PMD has recommended the public to drink extra water and stay out of direct sunshine from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
According to the ministry of climate change, there is a severe heatwave affecting approximately 26 regions in the country. It is expected that the present heatwave will persist until May 30.
The meteorologist stated, “Pre-monsoon rainfall could begin in the first week of June.”
In most of the country, the heatwave with record-breaking temperatures is still going strong.
The Met Office had earlier warned that heatwave conditions were expected to develop across most of the country, notably over Sindh and Punjab, due to the existence of high pressure in the upper atmosphere.
