Indus Highway Accident: Four Dead After Truck Hits Rickshaw in Dadu

The incident happened on the Indus Highway close to the Murad Khoso village in Khairpur Nathanshah, according to local authorities.

According to police sources, “the victims of the traffic mishap were returning to home after visiting a shrine.”

According to an official, the truck driver left the scene of the accident while police searched for him to take him into custody.

The deceased and injured were taken to a nearby hospital. A truck and a passenger van collided at Multan-Mianwali road last month, resulting in 11 fatalities and 15 critical injuries.

Five men, three women, two children, and a girl were among the eleven people who perished, according to the rescue personnel.

When a truck and a passenger van heading in the opposite way collided, over fifteen people suffered critical injuries.

For medical care, the wounded and the corpses of the dead were moved to Tehsil Headquarters Hospital.

When the accident happened, the occupants of the van, who were from Multan’s Laar neighborhood, were on their way to see relatives. It was determined by rescue officials that every person who died and was injured belonged to the same family.

Earlier today, a dumper and van collided on the national highway close to Thatta’s Jhirk region, resulting in at least five fatalities and multiple injuries.

According to the rescue officials, four people died on the spot while the injured were shifted to Hyderabad Civil Hospital.
