Star of “English Vinglish,” Adil Hussain, has expressed regret about his role in Shahid Kapoor’s “Kabir Singh.” He has also talked about the huge success of Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s most recent film, “Animal,” starring Ranbir Kapoor, and has maintained that he would never have done such a film, no matter how much money was offered for a role.

Adil Hussain was asked if he would like to play a part in the movie after admitting in a recent interview that he hasn’t seen the trailer. In an instant, he answered, “Never.”
“I would never do it, even if they paid me INR 100-200 crore,” he declared.
Notably, one of the highest-grossing movies of 2023 was Vanga, the neo-noir action thriller starring Ranbir Kapoor. Following multiple box office successes and a strong opening weekend in December of last year, “Animal” ended its theatrical run at INR918 crores.
Even though the movie was a huge commercial hit, critics had mixed feelings about it. Many said that it was misogynistic, similar to the director’s earlier works, Arjun Reddy and Kabir Singh.
