Sikandar, which is helmed by AR Murugadoss, is scheduled for release in 2019. Salman Khan is expected to start filming the film in June, according to a report from an Indian media source.
Producer Chithra Laksmanan has stated that South star Sathyaraj will portray the villain in Sikandar, amid growing rumors regarding the film’s antagonist.
In an interview, Laksmanan stated that Sathyaraj, who portrayed Kattappa in Baahubali, will face off against Khan as the villain in Sikandar.
In a recent interview, the actor verified the rumor and claimed to be the antagonist in Salman Khan’s movie.
It has been revealed that Rashmika Mandanna would portray the female protagonist opposite Salman Khan.
The actor posted on Instagram to indicate that he will be in the film as well.
“I’ve been getting requests from you guys for the next update for a while, so here it is. Unexpectedly! “I am incredibly appreciative and feel privileged to be a part of #Sikandar,” she wrote.

According to earlier reports, Salman Khan changed his exercise routine to achieve a chiseled figure and insisted on doing the action scenes personally.
