During an interview, Cummins was questioned regarding the top four teams competing in the 2024 T20 World Cup.
In response, Pat Cummins stated that Australia would guarantee a place in the semifinal, leaving the interviewer to choose the last three.
Australia, without a doubt. After that, you can select the three that appeal to you,” Cummins stated in the now-viral CNBC interview.
Upon being prompted by the interviewer to identify the remaining three, Cummins expressed his lack of care about the other teams.
You can choose any of them, he continued; I don’t care.
It is important to note that the Australian squad, led by the fast bowler, did not make it to the semifinals of the T20 World Cup in 2022.
But in 2023, Pat Cummins had a fantastic season at bat and with the ball, earning outstanding team honors.
