As per the information, the Returning Officer (RO) approved PML-N’s Azhar Qayyum’s plea for a recount of the votes. By a margin of 3197 votes, independent candidate Bilal Aijaz, who was supported by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), lost to Azhar Qayyum when the votes were counted.
Following the recount, independent candidate Bilal Aijaz, endorsed by the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), received 106,860 votes, while Azhar Qayyum received 110,057.

It is important to note that the PML-N candidate received 109,926 votes, placing him in second place behind winner Bilal Aijaz, who received 117,717 votes earlier.
Azhar Qayyum, who was upset with the outcome, went to the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) and asked for a vote recount.
Prior to it, on February 26, a vote recount in NA-154 Lodhran gave the PML-N another member in the National Assembly.
According to specifics, PML-N Abdul Rahman Kanju requested that the ballots be recounted, and the Returning Officer (RO) granted his request. With an advantage of 7301 votes against independent candidate Rana Faraz Noon, the PML-N candidate prevailed during the vote recount.
According to the updated results, independent candidate Rana Faraz Noon received 120,683 votes, while Abdul Rahman Kanju received 127,984 votes.
