Details indicate that MNA-elect Rasheed Akbar Noorani from NA-92 and five recently elected members of the Punjab Assembly met with Senior Vice President Maryam Nawaz of the PML-N, expressing “full confidence” in the party led by Nawaz Sharif.
Irfanullah Khan Niazi from PP-90, Muhammad Amir Inayat from PP-92, Muhammad Akbar Hayat from PP-205, Asghar Hayat from PP-212, and Rana Abdul Manan from PP-272 were among the MPAs-elect who joined the PML-N.

All of the independent candidates who joined the PML-N were welcomed by Maryam Nawaz. She said that the PML-N has been granted a mandate by the people of Punjab to carry out “exemplary” development projects in the region. According to the senior vice president of the PML-N, only her party could save Pakistan from disaster.
Six independents who won Punjab Assembly seats in the general elections of 2024 earlier on February 14 declared their intention to join the PML-N. The MPAs-elect met with Maryam Nawaz in Lahore and declared their intention to join the PML-N.
Sultan Bajwa from PP-132 Nankana, Shazia Tareen from PP-225 Lodhran, Mahmood Qadir Laghari from PP-289 Dera Ghazi Khan, Hanif Pitafi from PP-288 Dera Ghazi Khan, Taimoor Ali from PP-94 Chiniot, and Ali Asghar from PP-283 Layyah were among the independent candidates who joined the PML-N.
