List of Election Symbol of Political Parties for GE-2024

The Election Commission of Pakistan has designated 150 distinct symbols for registered political parties, while 174 have been allocated to independent candidates. With election day in Pakistan just two weeks away, both political parties and independent candidates are gearing up for the national and provincial assembly seats.

Electoral symbols play a crucial role during elections by aiding voters in identifying the candidates they wish to vote for. This significance is amplified in countries like Pakistan, where a majority of constituencies are in rural areas, and concerns about literacy rates persist.

For the upcoming general elections, the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has assigned 150 different symbols to registered political parties, while 174 symbols have been allotted to independent candidates.

It’s worth noting that Pakistan’s largest political party, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, is not participating in the race due to the nullification of its intra-party elections, leading its members to contest the 2024 elections as independent candidates with separate electoral symbols.
