Nasirabad: According to the police, there was a violent altercation between two parties inside the boundaries of Khan Kot Police Station.
The injured and dead were sent to Civil Hospital Dera Murad Jamali, according to the police.
Five people died in the altercation between the two armed groups, according to the police, which was caused by an ancient rivalry.
Earlier, a violent armed conflict between opposing parties in the city of Sukkur, Sindh, claimed the lives of at least six people, including women and children.
An armed clash took place between two rival groups in Sukkur in which six persons were killed including women and children, whereas, four others sustained injuries. The clash started after the killing of a person in a gun attack.
Subsequently, the enemy force launched a rocket attack and opened heavy fire. According to Senior Superintendent Police (SSP) Sukkur, a competing group opened fire on a group of people who were returning home from their Eid shopping, killing one man and injuring another.
In an act of retaliation, the group attacked the rival organization’s homes with rockets, killing six people—three of whom were women and children. The injured and deceased were taken to the Civil Hospital in Sukkur.

According to sources, the factions had been involved in a land dispute for fifteen years, during which time over ten people had died in armed conflicts.
