The foreign office said in a press release that the Israeli occupation forces’ targeting of those who were previously displaced by Israeli bombardment and were taken in by refugee camps is yet another violation of international humanitarian law.

In line with its obligations under the Genocide Convention and the worsening humanitarian conditions faced by civilians, Israel was ordered to immediately halt its military offensive in Rafah on May 24, 2024, by the International Court of Justice (ICJ). This order was blatantly defied by Israel, according to the statement.
The statement went on to say that the Israeli occupation forces have once again shown their disrespect for international law as well as the fundamental principles of decency and appropriate behavior abroad with their most recent conduct.
Pakistan is once again demanding that the rulings of the International Court of Justice (ICJ) be implemented without delay and without conditions. The Israeli occupying troops must be held responsible for the genocide in Gaza, and steps must be done to ensure the complete safety of Gaza’s civilian population. The statement concluded, “We demand that the UN Security Council fulfill its responsibility to stop Israel from attacking civilians in Rafah in the future and to take decisive action to safeguard Gaza’s population.
