ISLAMABAD – The Jamaat e Islami (JI) has declared its intent to organize a Gaza March in front of the US Embassy in Islamabad on October 29. The march seeks to pressure Israel to lift the siege on Gaza and open routes for humanitarian aid, according to Bol News.

JI Amir Sirajul Haq urged the public to stand against the oppression carried out by Israel and demonstrate their solidarity with the Palestinian people. He emphasized that the United States strongly supported Israeli aggression and that American involvement was often linked to global conflicts.

Haq stated, “Wherever there is fasaad in the world, America has a hand in it. America also has a hand in India’s occupation of Kashmir.” He stressed that silence on the Palestinian issue effectively supported Israel’s actions.

The JI leader highlighted the tragic loss of life in Palestine and the restriction of movement faced by Palestinians in their own territories. He praised the Palestinian people for choosing the path of resistance over subjugation, even in the face of great adversity.

Haq concluded by underscoring the dire humanitarian situation in Gaza, where many Palestinians are laid to rest without proper burial shrouds, further emphasizing the urgency of the Gaza March’s demands.
