The second day’s receipts for the Ajay Devgn film Shaitaan are up, with early estimates putting the total in the Rs. 18–19 crore region. With this, Shaitaan’s two-day earnings total Rs. 33.50 crore.
Shaitaan saw a spike in sales on Saturday even though it was right after the Maha Shivratri holiday. This horror movie has benefited from word-of-mouth, and on Sunday, ticket sales will rise even more. Shaitaan’s opening weekend is expected to bring in roughly Rs. 53 crores, which is a fantastic haul for a low-budget horror movie.
Vikas Bahl is the director of Shaitaan. The film’s HIT status and admission into the 100 crore club have been validated by the film’s spike in box office receipts on Saturday. There is a chance to upgrade the rating to super hit and blockbuster if the movie continues to do well on Monday.

The movie is performing well both in terms of mass and metro audiences; in fact, the mass figures outperform those of a much larger movie like Fighter, which had higher production expenditures and a larger star cast.
