The Mumbai police said that, according to allegations from Indian news outlets, Salman Khan was the target of another attempted attack while his route to his Panvel estate.
The authorities verified that four Bishnoi gang members were detained last week on suspicion of preparing a follow-up assault.
The apprehended suspects, identified as Dhananjay Tapesingh alias Ajay Kashyap, Gaurav Bhatia alias Nahvi, Vapsi Khan alias Waseem Chikna, and Rizwan Khan, resided in Panvel and had long-term plans to attack the “Tiger 3” actor, according to Deputy Commissioner of Police Vivek Pansare. “Bishnoi has multiple groups operating independently of one another, and we believe one gang was in Mumbai while the other was in Panvel doing a reconnaissance,”

According to reports, one of the accused had intended to meet at Kanyakumari before fleeing the country for Sri Lanka and had been in contact with someone to purchase AK-47 rifles for the attack.
