Sources state that the new roti pricing will take effect right now and account for the quantity of wheat and the falling cost of flour.
Following fruitful discussions between the Naan Bai Association and the district administration, this decision was taken.
According to a Punjab government spokesman, all tandoors will clearly display the new roti pricing, which was decided upon by the Naan Bai Association.
The spokesperson continued, “The administration is actively working to ensure the provision of relief to the masses on the directives of Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz.”

The first female chief minister declared on X (formerly Twitter) that the Punjab government has fixed the price of roti, or flatbread baked in a tandoor, at Rs16.
At first, the Naan Bai Association disagreed with the government’s new price, calling it “unjust.”
In addition, the Nanbai Association threatened to launch a province-wide walkout in the event that their demands were not fulfilled.
