Mehmood Khan Achakzai, the president of the Pashtunkhwa Milli Awami Party (PkMAP), had earlier said that the Quetta municipal government had “aided” his move into a Quetta mansion.

Omar Ayub stated in the National Assembly that there had been raids on Mahmood Khan Achakzai’s home. He denounced the raid and declared that a resolution against the attack on Achakzai’s home will be submitted.

The head of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) denounced the act as well, stating that he was made aware of the “raid” earlier today. He urged Shehbaz Sharif, the incoming prime minister, and Sarfraz Bugti, the chief minister of Balochistan, to act against the atrocity.

Speaking on a point of order in the National Assembly, Achakzai asked all political parties to work together to address the many issues confronting the country and help it through the crisis.
