Nawaz Sharif Targeted with Bottle in NA Session

Details indicate that at the signing of the Rule of Members, the bottle was thrown at Nawaz Sharif. Luckily, Nawaz Sharif was not hit by the bottle.

After the general elections on February 8, the newly elected Members of the 16th National Assembly (NA) took the oath of office.

Speaker Raja Pervaiz Ashraf administered the oath to the recently elected MNAs. The home, which was supposed to begin at ten in the morning, didn’t start until after eleven.

Following the conclusion of the national anthem, the Sunni Ittehad Council (SIC)-affiliated MPs backed by the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) created a commotion around the speaker’s dias.

The party had already declared that it will demonstrate against the purported manipulation of the general elections on February 8 during today’s meeting.
