The board of the Pakistan Broadcasting Corporation (PBC) has been reconstituted to include representatives from Azad Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan in addition to the other four provinces.
The procedure for selecting PBC’s director general has undergone significant modification as a result of the bill. The board will suggest a candidate for this role, with all regional representations now included.

The appointment will subsequently be made by the federal government in accordance with the board’s recommendation.
