The sources state that Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, the Federal Minister for Science and Technology and Chairman of the MQM-P, will lead the delegation, which also includes Dr. Farooq Sattar and senior leader Syed Mustafa Kamal.
According to those with knowledge of the development, the MQM-P would inform the prime minister of the party’s disapproval of the NAB law modifications.
The sources continued, “The MQM-P will also discuss issues being faced by the traders, the political situation of the country, and development projects of Karachi in the meeting.”
The party lead by Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui will also address issues including rising electrical load shedding, overcharging, maintaining law and order, and killing journalists.
The federal government’s coalition partner, the MQM-P, referred to the recent changes to the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) statute as “inappropriate” earlier on Tuesday.
An extension of the NAB’s remand of an accused person from 14 to 40 days, according to a MQM-P spokeswoman, “will not be beneficial either.”
The MQM-P expressed disapproval about the decrease in the minimum penalty for NAB personnel convicted of wrongdoing.

The MQM-P maintained, “It is also incomprehensible to lower the punishment period for a NAB official who fabricates the case from five to two years.”
The party said that due to NAB laws and their wrong application, the country’s economy and politics have already suffered ‘irreparable damage’.
