Netflix has renewed the second season of the spinoff series “Berlin,” which is based on “Money Heist.”
Pedro Alonso, who played the title role in the first season, will return in the second one along with Michelle Jenner as Keila, Tristán Ulloa as Damián, Begoña Vargas as Cameron, Julio Peña Fernández as Roi, and Joel Sánchez as Bruce.
The Spanish-language show sets up the events of “Money Heist” (also known as “La casa de papel”) in advance. Similar to the first season of the show, “Berlin” follows Alonso’s character and his group as they attempt to pull off a massive, multimillion dollar theft. In 2025, Season 2 filming will get underway.
