Maulana Fazlur Rehman emphasized to the media in Peshawar that following the previous operation, people in FATA went home to find their homes damaged by the armed operations.
He denounced the administration for always placing the blame for terrorist incidents in the province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) on Afghanistan.
“They said the fence had been pulled off when asked how the terrorists managed to cross the Pakistan-Afghan border despite it,” he said.
He made the observation that Pakistan talks with Iran on issues related to infiltration and proposed that Afghanistan follow like.
According to him, “Pakistan and Afghanistan’s stability is mutually important; as responsible states, we have to negotiate to resolve conflicts.”
The head of JUI-F voiced his displeasure with rash choices and provocations, saying that they destabilize the area.

He called for commitments to peaceful resolutions and regional stability, and he questioned whether the intention is to destabilize Afghanistan rather than stabilize it.
