With election day in Pakistan just two weeks away, both political parties and independent candidates are gearing up for the national and provincial assembly seats.

For the upcoming general elections, the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has assigned 150 different symbols to registered political parties, while 174 symbols have been allotted to independent candidates.

It’s worth noting that Pakistan’s largest political party, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, is not participating in the race due to the nullification of its intra-party elections, leading its members to contest the 2024 elections as independent candidates with separate electoral symbols.
