Actor Kubra Khan was questioned recently on a private TV channel’s World Cup broadcast about why, despite being from England, where cricket was virtually invented, she does not enjoy the game.
She responded by disputing the assertion and said, “It’s not like that. I haven’t seen the current T20 World Cup, but I do like watching cricket when Pakistan is competing.
Khan responded, “I’m loving Naseem Shah lately, I think he is a great addition to the team,” when asked which cricket player was her favorite.
She went on, “I like him as a person overall, not just with cricket.”
Notably, USA’s rookie squad defeated Green Shirts in the Super Over to score a historic upset victory in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 at Grand Prairie Stadium, which marked a depressing start to Pakistan’s cricket team’s World Cup campaign.
