The four were reported to be in “good medical condition” by the military in a statement. “Noa Argamani (25), Almog Meir Jan (21), Andrey Kozlov (27), and Shlomi Ziv (40), were kidnapped by the Hamas from the Nova music festival on October 7,” the statement read.
The military said, “The hostages were rescued… from two separate locations in the heart of Nuseirat” in central Gaza.
Eight months into the conflict with Hamas in Gaza, a rare rescue has occurred. Terrorists grabbed 251 hostages during their October 7 attack on the music festival and other regions of southern Israel; 116 of them are still in Palestinian land, 41 of whom the army claims are dead.
The military claimed in a different statement earlier on Saturday that troops were “targeting terrorist infrastructure in the area of Nuseirat.”
At least fifteen individuals were killed on Saturday as a result of Israeli strikes in central sections of the territory, including the Nuseirat camp, according to a Gaza hospital.
Doctor Khalil al-Dakran, the hospital’s spokesman, told AFP that “intense Israeli air strikes in central governorate left at least 15 martyrs and tens of wounded who have been brought to Al-Aqsa Martyrs hospital.”
According to Dakran, the casualties originated from both the hospital’s location in Deir al-Balah and the area surrounding Nuseirat camp.
“Dozens of bodies of martyrs and wounded lying on the ground, in the streets, and in safe rooms,” declared Hamas in a statement released separately.

The Israeli army were waging a “brutal and savage aggression on Nuseirat camp,” the group continued.
Israeli television stations shared social media pictures of dense smoke plumes rising from many Nuseirat buildings.
The military has been heavily attacking Nuseirat and its surroundings from the air and on the ground in recent weeks.
The UN agency for assisting Palestinian refugees, or UNRWA, ran a school that was converted into a shelter on Thursday. According to the Al-Aqsa hospital, this attack claimed the lives of 37 individuals.
