Earlier on February 17, during two distinct intelligence-based operations (IBO) in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province, security forces killed nine militants, including two well-known terrorists.
The ISPR reports that the security forces killed two prominent terrorists, Rehmat Ullah alias Badar Mansur and Amjad alias Babri, during an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in Tank District.
Seven militants were slain by security personnel in a fierce gunfight during another operation in the South Waziristan District.
