Singh, who played for India in the team that won the 2007 T20 World Cup, thinks that either India or Pakistan or the West Indies will go to the championship match. Additionally, he stated his hope that Australia would not be in the final. “I’m hoping for India, most likely the Caribbean. Yuvraj said, “Pakistan 3, and no Aussies (laughs).” The all-round player predicted that India would win the T20 World Cup in 2024, but he also counselled the defending champions to have faith in their own skills.
“I think we have the confidence to win significant competitions. India can succeed if people have faith in themselves, support one another, and utilise their unique advantages. And that’s what I think,” Yuvraj was reported by Press Trust of India (PTI). “I believe that’s why we prevailed. Instead of worrying about where the opponent would hurt us, we concentrated on where we were good, how we could be good, and what needed to be done. The match winners are here,” he continued.
Yuvraj Singh was chosen the 2024 T20 World Cup ambassador, for those who are unaware. Before and throughout the competition, he will take part in World Cup promotional events held in the United States. On June 9, he will also be present at the highly anticipated game between India and Pakistan, who are bitter rivals. The former all-round player talked about his favourite T20 World Cup moments and revealed his excitement about serving as the tournament’s ambassador.

Playing in the T20 World Cup brought back some of his favourite cricketing moments, including striking six sixes in a single over. That’s why Yuvraj expressed his excitement about being a part of this edition, which is expected to be the biggest yet. “Cricket is growing in the USA, and I’m excited to be a part of that growth through the T20 World Cup. The West Indies is a great place to play cricket, with the fans coming to watch creating a vibe that is completely unique to that part of the world.”
“India’s clash against Pakistan in New York is going to be one of the biggest sporting fixtures in the world this year, so it’s a privilege to be a part of and to witness the best players in the world playing in a new stadium.”
