Govt Reduces LPG Prices Once More

The OGRA announced that the rates for LPG had been lowered by Rs3.87, to Rs234 per kilogram. The new rates will take effect right now.

According to sources, the development occurred after the Oil and Gas Development Company (OGDCL) lowered production costs in response to the arrival of three ships carrying imported LPG.

In the meanwhile, starting on June 1, Pakistani gasoline prices are probably going to drop much further.

Sources predict that the price of gasoline will drop by Rs 5 and the price of diesel by Rs 4 per liter, respectively.

According to sources, the prime minister will be consulted before the Ministry of Finance announces the new rates.

According to other sources, the Petroleum Division will receive the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) summary of the price drop by May 31st.
