According to PML-N spokesman Marriyum Aurangzeb, there was an understanding between the parties to collaborate for the country’s greater good.
She stated that the PML-N and MQM-P have reached a fundamental understanding but would not go into further detail.
The two sides, according to her, shared several ideas about the anticipated structure of the federal government and also gave each other confidence in their prior interactions over the formation of the Central government. According to certain media reports, the MQM-P sought to be included in development projects that the federal government of Karachi would carry out, as well as the position of governor of Sindh and several federal ministries.

Dr. Farooq Sattar, the deputy convener of the MQM-P, rejected any claims that the PML-N leadership had received any such demands from them.
“We didn’t talk about how the ministries would be distributed when the administration was formed. Instead, we talked about using a cooperative approach to solve societal issues,” he emphasized.
He described the discussion with the PML-N as “extremely serious and constructive,” during which the parties deliberated on ways to steer the nation out of economic and political impasses. According to him, the PML-N decided to propose a constitutional modification to create an efficient local body system, which is essential for the nation’s progress.
The PML-N team included Shehbaz Sharif, Maryam Nawaz, Ishaq Dar, Ahsan Iqbal and Rana Sanaullah, while Sindh governor Kamran Tessori, Khalid Maqbool, Farooq Sattar, and Mustafa Kamal represented the MQM-P delegation.
