The Punjab driving license system will be improved, and all license offices will be closed from May 23 to May 27, according to a statement from CTO Lahore Amara Athars.
Due to the upgrade, the system will be unavailable from 5 p.m. on May 23 until 3 p.m. on May 27. Learner permits, new, renewed, and foreign licenses will not be granted during this period.
On May 27, it is recommended that citizens visit license offices after 3 p.m. Those who possess an electronic license will be deemed legitimate. Additionally, the officer made it clear that e-license holders will not be receiving any challan tickets during this time.

Chief Minister (CM) Maryam Nawaz opened four driving schools earlier in the day to instruct women in driving cars and motorcycles.
The driving schools are Liberty Service Center Driving School, Manawan Traffic Lines Driving School, Women on Wheels School, and Abshar Driving School, all located on Jail Road and Ferozepur Road.
According to the Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) of Lahore, driving schools provide a women-to-women service where female instructors coach and support female pupils. The sessions are held from 8 am to 4 pm to accommodate women.
The goal of this program is to empower women to become self-sufficient, self-assured persons by promoting their mobility and independence.
